scrapping the music: Dream Big

I think I might have a new favorite song. I am loving this weeks song over at Scrapping the music. It is called Dream Big by Ryan Shupe & The RubberBand. I have never heard of them but this song is amazing (if your sappy like me). I ended up using some of the words as my journaling and they are perfect for what I want for my boys. I also used sketch #3 from Artful Delight.

Details:
All the paper is from Totally Boy by My Minds Eye
Font is Boyz R Groz (my new fave) cut with SCAL
Everything else is from my stash

National Scrap book Day

My birthday is tomorrow and I asked hubby if I could have a crop day at our house for my birthday. I am so lucky he said yes. It just happened that I had it on National Scrapbook Day. I found this sketch from Let's Capture These Sketches and started my layout. It took me until this morning to finish it though. The basic idea was there but I didnt know where I wanted to go with it. Even the title is different then it started out to be. I used these pictures of Tobin and Tanner when we stayed at Bay Lake Towers at Disney World. We were able to go after the hotel had only been built for a month.

Details:
All the paper is from Me and my big ideas Fashion district
The circle was punched with Martha Stewarts punch around the page deco fan
Font is boyz are gross
I used the part that comes off of my fiskars border punch (does that make sense?)

Polly Craft Monday: Boyz to Men
Frosted Designs: Border punch

Lay out remake

I know....I fell off the earth. I have been so busy working 6 days a week and hubby and I have been taking cake decorating classes at Michaels. Not to mention mothers day coming up, my birthday, Tobin's 5th bday, Easter and life in general.

For Christmas I framed a layout I had made of my son's father that had passed away the year before and gave it to his best friend. My sons aunt saw it and asked if I could make her one with her pics. I changed it around some but I think it came out well too. I just wanted to show it off.

Dino dig layout

I made this layout with some pictures my mom took of Trey at the bone yard when we went to animal kingdom a couple years ago. I love that I am using up my stash and I got to use my new sewing machine! The carts are paper doll dress up for the trees and dinosaur tracks for everything else.

This layout qualifies for:
Pile it on: childhood dreams (little boys and dinosaurs...need I say more)

True Love layout

I am finally starting to scrap some of our wedding pictures (we got married 10-10-04). For this layout I used the sketch over at Creative Craft World. I used Prima flowers but other then that everything else is from my stash.

I just had to share this

My 12 year old son made this card for his "girl-friend". I let him use all my scraps and my copics and spicas and let him look through all my digis and pick out the one he wanted to use. He chose this one and made it a princess, on the inside he said "to a real princess". I thought he did a great job.
