Halloween layout

I have been working 7 nights a week between Michaels crafts and the Dollar Tree. So on days when I get to stay home I have been all over scrapping. I found this sketch at Stuck Sketches. I know it was a single page but I went a little crazy with it once I started.

These pictures are from 2008 when we went to Universal Studios Orlando. The decorations are fantastic at Halloween time.

Pretty much everything I used for this is from my stash. We are talking about moving so I have decided I need to start using stuff up so I dont have to move as much. Now keep in mind we are talking 3-4 years from now but heaven only knows what I will accumulate by then. Lets see how long with use it up attitude will last....lol.

Coke vs Pepsi Layout

When I saw this challenge at Stamp it Crazy I knew I had to do it and I actually had alot of fun making it. I used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme.

My husband has been with Frito Lay for 10 years and they are owned by Pepsi. I was took a picture of the plaque hubby got on his 10 year anniversary.

I have always collected different memorabilia but I am partial to Coke stuff. This is a picture of a sign hanging in our game room that hubby got me on our honeymoon.

We dont drink soda in our house very often but when we do we tend to drink Dr. Pepper products. I had to find this pic on line.

Details:

All the cuts were done using scal and mtc. I love that I was able to find the font for each company to do the journaling in.

The paper is all We R Memory Keepers from the white out collection

Plain and Simple

The challenge at Allsorts this week is plain and simple. I dont know if I can get much plainer and simpler then this. Actually I am sure I can but I like how this came out. I have been looking for a miss you stamp that I like to put on the inside but I have not found one yet. Maybe when I go to work tomorrow I will look.

A New Fave Card

This has to be my new favorite card that I have made. It is so different then anything I have ever made and I LOVE it!. I took a copy of this digi into work today to find some paper that I liked with it. I ended up getting some Basic Grey paper. It is so different then anything I would have ever picked out before. In fact I didn't pick it up some one else did. When they got to the register they decided they didn't want it so it was put in my go back buggy. I saw the paper and had to have it.
The funny thing about the Basic Grey paper is that it looks lavender but it is not, it is a light black. I guess it is drawing out the color of the flowers. I ended up using sketch 81 from card patterns for inspiration.

More Details:

I made the flowers from Primas.

The digi is from digital 2 for tuesday.

Everything else is stash.

A Shaped Card

A number of challenges are asking for you to make a card that is NOT square or rectangle. I have never do this so I tend to skip those challenges. Today I decided to take it head on. I made a diaper shaped card out of 2 triangles welded together. Ignore my craptastic hand writing on the inside please...lol.

Fall Card

Its getting chilly in the mornings here in North Carolina. I love this time of year. You can actually go outside and breath. Ashville is only an hour away and the colors in the mountains are amazing. I decided to make a card that has a southern welcome. I used Word and some font that I like. I am not sure which one it is because I have hundreds of fonts. I was also able to use the card board box looking paper that comes in packs that I HATE! When I see it I am reminded of elementary school or the inside of food packages. I think it works here though.

Details:

All the paper is from Michaels. Most of it is recollections.

The ribbon has been in my stash forever. I got it from the dollar spot at target.

The leaves are from Paper Dolls Every Day

The acorns are from Doodle Charms
