Getting around to it

I decided to go through one of my many boxes of pictures just to get a little inspired. I found these pics of Tobin (will be 5 in May) when he was 2 years old at Carowinds. He loved to ride the rides but he always looked so nervous before they started. I decided to make this an outer space them. The title was cut with MTC and the letters are actually cut out of the marquee and not glued on. That was something different for me to do.

Details:
Most of the paper is DCWV All About Boys stack
Most cuts are from the Toy Story cart
everything else is stash

Scrap it with a song: Brown eyed girl

This weeks song at Scrap it With a Song is brown eyed girl by Van Morrison. As everyone knows....I just have lots of boys, but no girls. So I decided to take the line....my how you have grown and make a layout of Trey. I really like how this turned out. All the paper is from my stash. The title was done with a childs year. The boy is actually a few different SVG files that I cut to make into a boy.

Sweet baby boy

I Thought these pictures came out so cute when I got them developed and couldn't wait to use them. As some of you might remember I am on a mission to use all my paper before I buy more. Well I got about 10 new pads for Christmas so I know that wont happen any time soon...lol. I decided instead to pull out the very first pack of paper I ever bought and use some of it. I think it worked so well on this layout. I LOVE how it came out.

Details:
All the pattern paper is from Me and my big ideas
Moon: I used Make the Cut and the SVG file was from My scrappy chick
Title: is from nursery rhymes
I used a hand held sewing machine for the first time around the outside
