A layout and a hint

For this layout I used this fun sketch from Creative Scrappers. I also used 1 of the first 5 songs from A Song For A Page. This is a great sneak peek. I wonder if anyone can guess the song used.

Unbreakable Bond

I am so glad I have these challenges to help me with my cousin's book. It is hard for me to scrap something when I wasn't there. I have to leave places for someone else to journal and a lot of times I feel the layout is unfinished. This time I used Creative Creations Challenge letter B. I came up with a few Bs for this. Bride, Black, and Bond. That helped me with the title.

Creative Scrappers

I have been working on a Wedding book for my cousin as a surprise. Today I finally got to play in my scrap room. I used the sketch from Creative Scrappers for the layout. My title came from a song on Taylor Swift's new album Red. The song Holy Ground has been stuck in my head for days. I changed 1 word to fit the layout but I think it worked pretty well even if this is outside of my comfort zone.
This layout also qualifies for:
Anything Goes Challenge blog: Vintage shabby chic
Can You Dig it: Love inspired
Cuttin and Stamping: Purple, Green, Yellow

Memories

Here is another layout I made of the store opening. I started with scrap fits challenge of use a pattern paper background. I did not even touch card stock for this on. If you have been paying attention you can see that I have been leaving the journaling tags blank. I want the store manager to write in her thoughts. So far she has been thrilled with the first few pages I finished. With inventory this week I hope I can get a least a little bit of scrapping in.

Details:
Patterned Paper: Totally boy stack
Flowers: Recollections
Card stock die cut embellishments: from the pack at Michaels in with family stickers.

Fun and Games

This week at SOUS the the die cut challenge is put me in couch. It gave me the perfect idea for one of the new store layouts. There was a wheel you would spin to win prizes and even an expression 2. They also had craft areas. I scrap lifted a layout that I have loved for a long time I just dont know who made it or where is it from, but I saved it to my computer and I smile every time I see it.

Details:
Everything is old stash. I know at least some of it is from the Simply Delightful stack. Most of the other paper is from my scrap pile.
Twine: stampin up
Tickets: That is a stamp I got on clearance from Hobby Lobby forever ago.
