Scrapping the Music: Aerosmith

I found another music scrap challenge site called Scrapping the Music. This week their song is Aerosmith's I don't want to miss a thing. This song is a great scrapping song. There are so many directions to go with it. I went with a picture of my now 4 year old Tobin. I took this picture specifically to start scrapbooking. I wanted one picture of each of my boys sleeping. That was the first layout I ever made. If you go way back to one of my first posts you will see I took it apart and redid it for a challenge.

I decided to hand write some of the lyrics instead of journaling. I got a 6 pack of small gel glitter pens from the dollar spot at Target and I love them!!! I used the brown one. I hope you can see how glittery it is.

I decided to use the sketch from A Crafty Little Place. I am pretty happy with how it came out.

Details:

Background paper is Cloud 9 Design polka dots from Halloween Fun collection

Font and picture backing papers are both s.e.i. play day

All solid papers are from my scrap pile

Font is Story Book

Stars and pooh are from Pooh and Friends

I embossed the stars with my cuttle bug and the swiss dots folder

I chalked all the solid paper with memento, petal point, and pebbles

Buttons are from a mix bag at Hobby Lobby

This layout also qualifies for:

Design Dollies: Red, Brown, Yellow
Scrapfit: Use a machine
Delightful sketches: Texture
